Spokeshave Blades
We still offer the best Spokeshave Blade you can buy anywhere - in three sizes. These blades are made of A2 steel for a long edge life, especially in wet, rived red-oak, so they are the standard for chairmakers. The two larger sizes are double hollow ground, on the top and the bottom, like a traditional straight razor. They ship SHARP!

The KCWTW No. 5 Windsor Beader is OUT of PRODUCTION. We permanently ceased production after Serial Number 200. We sometimes re-acquire the Beaders and they occasionally show up at on-line auctions. If you have or acquire one of our Beaders please contact us via e-mail so we can add you to our database for notification of new products related to the No 5. We've added a second set of cutter profiles, see below, and we may add new products in the future. We have archived our No. 5 information, here.
Windsor Beader Cutter Sets
We have recently re-stocked our inventory of sets of the same pattern (Set A) we shipped with our Beaders. These are patterned after the original Kendal & Vose and will fit one of their vintage tools if you are so lucky to have one. We are pleased to announce that we have added a second set of profiles (Set B), see below for details. Both of these are priced at $64.96 per set of 12 or $124.95 for two sets in any combination (plus $4.60 for USPS Priority Mail shipping).

KCWTW Warrantee
Kansas City Windsor Tool Works (KCWTW) primary objective is to produce well made tools that any woodworker or tool collector would be proud to own. Each and every tool is individually assembled and finished, then very carefully tuned and tested so that it is ready to be used as soon as you receive it!
If you receive a tool from us and it doesn't measure up to what you expect: send it back, we will refund your money or replace the tool with one that satisfies you.
If you receive a defective tool, or discover a hidden defect after using the tool please contact us via e-mail. We've listed the e-mail first because that will probably get you a quicker response but you are welcome to call and leave a message on our voice mail. We will determine if the tool needs replacement, repair or refund of your payment.
If the tool should break please contact us immediately so we can try to determine what action to take - we of course can't afford to replace tools that have been abused but if you think the tool didn't perform adequately then we want to work with you to resolve the problem.
